Thieving time~ ;3

Finally got all the gems sorted for my little loot pouch on my thief cosplay. Bought 3 packs for scrapbook gems from The Works (99p each, can't really lose X3) and glued the halves together.

They certainly pass the shiny test XP Now I just need the pouch to but them in...

Still need to finish my dagger too so I can make that tutorial for it, heheh ^^;

As for other updates, I'm nealy halfway through toning my Manga Jiman entry. In a few days I should be all done! :D Gonna feel weird not posting a new TrickSong page tonight, but I've got one page left as my buffer and I'd rather wait the week to use it.

Today was a good day ^^

After heading to HobbyCraft to pick up some more stuff for my thief cosplay, we headed to nearer the centre of Nottingham to a shop called Twisted Playground. Wanted to go in there for ages, but we finally did today 'cause of a certain giant purple dragon hung outside the shop >3

....Yes, I mean Spyro XD My sister got the big guy, while I found this li'l guy.

Doesn't he hide my face no nicely? XD;;; Spyro says hi~ <3

Amazing shop tho', had so much there and me and my sis had a nice talk with the owner. Definately going back, I wanna explore that place way more.

Also been applying for jobs, so handing in CVs and getting smiles in return makes me happy ^^ Better than a 'sorry, the position's been taken' emails I get barely hours after applying online X_x

But anyways, after a 13 year wait, I finally have my Spyro plushie :D I think my sister's is lifesized, but my room's tiny, so she can keep him XP I'll get her to post a pic soon.

Art: The Atoshi Twins

After trying to find a more interesting look for my next Manga Jiman contest, I decided to mix up my usual anime style with my 'TrickSong' style and really liked the result.

...Which got me into a drawing spree XD So I tried drawing some of my old TS characters in that style and decided to make a proper shaded picture out of the doodles I did for Mana and Celes.

Gotta say, I really like how it turned out, it was a nice simple but fun pic to work on ^^

'Musical' colour tests

Carrying on from the WIP I posted a few weeks back, I decided that her outfit'd probably follow one main colour, so I started seeing what colours worked best.

Still not sure which one just head, but I'm sort of leaning towards the grey one, like a stylised school uniform, but adding some colour to it. Might go with the red hair aswell to give it some more spark.

What do you guys think? :3

Holiday geekery

 Saw some stuff on holiday I thought'd be fun to post here.

Was in the car and spotted a painted van. Pretty sure this is meant to be Vegeta, right? The rest of the van looked pretty awesome, but I couldn't get any other pics of it.

Yeah, give me one chance for a YGO Abridged reference and I'll make it XD Went in the pub this sign was on, had really good fish and chips ^^

 

Seen a couple of these around, but my brother asked me to take a pic. Yay for minifigs!

Went to Locomotion in Shildon and found out the Hogwarts Express was there. Since it's got no more trips to make, I guess it's gotta hang somewhere X3

Tried to make a panaramic of some photos I took, but it looked waaaaay weird, so I left it.

This sign caught my eye in York. Then again, since I'm an FF fan, any mentions of related names grabs my interest X3 Guess Kuja decided to open a coffee place or something ;P

Not really geekery related, but we frequently passed the entrance to the Krypton Factor assault course on holiday, which was pretty awesome. Would love to give it a go sometime now I know where it is, but I think I'd fail before I even started XD;;;
