Today was a good day ^^

After heading to HobbyCraft to pick up some more stuff for my thief cosplay, we headed to nearer the centre of Nottingham to a shop called Twisted Playground. Wanted to go in there for ages, but we finally did today 'cause of a certain giant purple dragon hung outside the shop >3

....Yes, I mean Spyro XD My sister got the big guy, while I found this li'l guy.

Amazing shop tho', had so much there and me and my sis had a nice talk with the owner. Definately going back, I wanna explore that place way more.

Also been applying for jobs, so handing in CVs and getting smiles in return makes me happy ^^ Better than a 'sorry, the position's been taken' emails I get barely hours after applying online X_x

But anyways, after a 13 year wait, I finally have my Spyro plushie :D I think my sister's is lifesized, but my room's tiny, so she can keep him XP I'll get her to post a pic soon.

Cosplay and all that

Been on a high with my eventual future cosplay the past week or so. So much, in fact, that yesterday I did this.

Might or might not be obvious, depending on what you're into, but I wanna cosplay as Rin Kagamine from Vocaloid! :D

Boredom does strange things. Strange things like making a Rin bow out of paper and clipping it to your head ^^;

And then I posed in my White Mage jacket a bit (not the full cosplay, didn't wanna go the whole hog).

Not much else other than that. I gotta sketch more and all the usual stuff. I'll probably post something a bit more useful next time...if I'm lucky.

Quick, use the backup!

Tried using my sister's camcorder to record direct to the computer ready for some videos. That really didn't go well, no program would read it or didn't have the option to capture it. So, less professional as it looks, I'm gonna have to use my webcam for it, which doesn't look too bad during the day but is still a little grainy. It'll do until I can find a better option. At least it's a higher quality webcam :)

As for the first video I'm gonna do, it's about something I've loved for a very long time (my first 'fandom', in fact, although fandom for me back then consisted of talking to friends at school excitedly about it). I'd love to make it a series of videos, and what I'm working on is the introduction. Here's hoping! I'm open to guesses for what I'm doing (unless I already told you ;P), it's not like I'm very quiet on the matter ^^;

A little clue - I've been raiding my collection and grabbing scans off the net for the past 2 days while scripting it ;D

Stranger things have happened

Okay, for those who know me, they know I have a thing against skirts. Not by any fault of their own, I just do. Well today I finally said enough is enough.

I promised a couple of friends I'd post photos, so here they are! Lame quality, but I lost my camera USB cable so I had to record a video on my webcam then nab screencaps from it in a video editor ^^;
